Hi Travis,
I was, for whatever reason, was granted C.O. status in April. I’m sorry to hear yours application isn’t being taken seriously. For the last 3 months, I have been walking-and have since been joined by an ex-marine-across the country to adress the mindset that got us into war. Please know that you are not alone in your struggle and that, as I’ve travelled, there are so many people working daily to make the world a more proactively loving and peaceful place. Be encouraged by people like Gandhi and MLK and others who have used their prison experience as a time of spiritual growth. Practice love even in jail, to the other prisoners, to the guards; and when you emerge, you will be that much more ready to turn your experiences into positive change.
In solidarity,
Josh Stieber
